BC100 Batch Controller
For Use With Tapflo Air Operated Pumps

DESCRIPTION
The BC100 Batch Controller allows you to set and pump a certain volume of liquid. When the batch is started, the unit will count the number of pump strokes the air/gas pump is doing. Based on this information, the unit will shut off the pump when the desired volume has been pumped. The pump strokes are sensed from the variation of pressure in the air exhaust by a pressure switch (placed in the counter unit). No electric device is mounted on the air gas pump, which allows for use even in explosion hazardous areas, provided that the batch controller unit is placed outside the Ex-zone.

FILLING CONTAINERS OF VARIOUS VOLUMES
Let us say that you are using a model T50 to fill
containers of the sizes 5,10 and 25 liters. What you
first (& only once) have to do is to set the counter
with the volume that the pump makes per stroke.
Then, just enter the desired volume and start the
batch by pressing ”dispense.” The ”prime” button
is used if you would like to operate the pump manually.

CAPACITY TESTING
Each pump model is fully tested with
three pumps. The liters per stroke result
is an arithmetic average from the tests.

Testing accuracy is approx. 5%.

Pumps with PTFE diaphragms have
about 10-15% less capacity per stroke.

Used for glue and ink etc.	A stroke counter is an easy way to pump a preset volume of fluid. The number of strokes are preset via an LED display and the electronic unit then controls the pump auomatically.
