Sensors Supplied with ALMEMO Interface Plug

ALMEMO input connection plugs provide the ultimate versatility in connecting almost any sensor to an ALMEMO instrument. The connection plugs are available for a broad range of sensor inputs, including thermocouple, RTD, and thermistor. Additionally, “blank” plugs are available to measure various electrical sensor output signals, including DC and AC volts and millivolts, current, and resistance. Frequencies as high as 25KHz and pulses with frequencies as high as 65,000 per minute may also be connected. The blank plugs allow the user to store the sensor-specific parameters, e.g. zero, gain, and engineering unit designation, in an EEPROM in the ALMEMO connection plug.Zero and gain calibration adjustments to any attached sensor may be made through the microprocessor-based ALMEMO interface, and the adjustments are stored in non-volatile memory onboard the sensor’s plug.

A supply voltage of 6-12 VDC is available from an ALMEMO plug (depending on the specific ALMEMO device).
