Gear Pumps
A gear pump, sometimes referred to as a rotary gear pump, develops flow using the meshing of gears to pump fluid by displacement. One of the most common pump types used for hydraulic fluid power applications, crude oil, diesel oil, lube oil, pressure lubrication, fuel supply, and general liquid transfer. They are also used for transporting chemicals such as sodium silicate, mixed chemicals, acids, plastics, isocyanates and other chemicals.
